The Pearl Drop Earrings are the first piece of pearl jewelry that I made and remain one of my favourites.
 
The pearls measure 11-13mm (1/2 - 7/16"). They are accented with a sterling silver bead cap and a sterling daisy spacer at the bottom and are hung from a sterling silver wire. The front portion of the wire has been hammered while the back of the wire gracefully curves behind the ear. The length of the earring from top of the wire to the bottom of the daisy spacer is 4.5mm (2 1/2 ").
 
The size and luminescence of the pearls speaks of luxury and their simplicity means they can be brought out for special occassions or can be a staple for everyday wear.
